Who is this training for?

This programme is suitable for for general practitioners, nurses, midwives, breastfeeding advocates, smoking cessation advisors, antenatal educators, social workers and Kaiāwhina.

What is taught?

This programme will help you develop the skills needed to work with whānau and make positive behaviour changes to reduce the risk of SUDI.  

Participants will also receive certification and four CME points for attending the three hour workshop and completing the one hour online quiz.

Is it available in my area?

Our focus is with groups in geographical areas with high rates of Māori SUDI. Our priority areas are Northland, Counties Manukau, Waikato, Whanganui, Wairarapa and Hutt Valley DHBs.
